Overview

AIAPGET 2025 (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Unani systems of medicine. The exam is mandatory for admission into government, private, and deemed AYUSH colleges in India.

• Medium: Ayurveda – Hindi & English, Unani – English & Urdu, Siddha – English & Tamil, Homeopathy – English only
• Duration: 120 minutes
• Total Questions: 120
• Marking Scheme: +4 for correct, -1 for incorrect

Eligibility

• BAMS / BHMS / BUMS / BSMS degree from recognized institution
• Completion of internship before cut-off date (expected July 2025)
• Permanent registration with respective state or central council
• Foreign nationals must follow eligibility criteria laid down by respective ministries and institutions

Syllabus

The syllabus will be based on the graduate level curriculum of the respective discipline (Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy) as prescribed by NCISM and NCH.

Admit Card

• Available for download at aiapget.nta.nic.in
• Download using Application Number and DOB
• Take a printout and carry with photo ID to exam center

Preparation

• Revise your BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BSMS course material thoroughly
• Focus on NCISM/NCH-guided core topics
• Practice MCQs from previous years and mock tests
• Time yourself during mock exams

Analysis

Previous exams show that questions are concept-based and often direct from NCISM/NCH prescribed undergraduate curriculum. A balanced approach between memorization and clinical reasoning is recommended.

Result

• Results will be declared at aiapget.nta.nic.in
• Includes scorecard, percentile, and All India Rank
• Expected release: 3–4 weeks after the exam

Cutoff

Counselling

• Conducted by AACCC at aaccc.gov.in
• Rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up
• Choice filling, document verification, and reporting done online
• Separate state counselling also held by state authorities

Answer Key

The provisional answer key will be released by NTA for public challenge. Final key will be published along with the result.

Question Paper

AIAPGET 2025 is a secure CBT. Memory-based question papers will be available from students and coaching institutes after the exam.
